I chose crochet for my favourite thing to do because it is very mind relaxing and i really enjoy it.There is many differnt types of crochet stitches my favourite is the treble crochet because you can make alot from it and it is the most useful stitch.Sometimes people get confused and think crochet is the same thing as kniting but they are actully two very different things.The first reason they are different is for knitting you use knitting neddles and for crochet you use a crochet hook.The next reason they are different is the techniques are very different for crochet you have to yarn over and pull through but for knitting you have you yarn over pull under and so on.Knitting has been around longer!
WHAT TYPES OF WOOL CAN YOU USE?
You can use all types of wools if you have all right sizes of crochet hooks.Crochet hooks come in all different sizes for thicker wool and thinner wool.For fuffy wool you would need a bigger hook but for normal wool you would need a size 4-5 crochet hook.Some wools are very thin so you would need a 2-3 size crochet hook.You can also pick lots of different colours to make you project a bit more colourful!
WHY I LIKE CROCHET
I like crochet because I think it makes me very creative and happy.Crochet can also calm me down so if im feeling sad i could do crochet and I would become instantly happy!I started crochet back in September 2022!:)
