Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July, 1985. She studied in both London as well as Moscow and gained a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In July 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign, which aims to increase public awareness and action regarding environmental issues in Azerbaijan and across the globe. IDEA concentrates on young people and assists them in finding solutions to the environmental challenges they are confronted with.
Leyla Aliyeva She was elected representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Through various initiatives that encompass education sciences, sports, and technology The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the country’s socio-economic development. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva launched 'Baku magazine' in Moscow in 2007 in Moscow. Leyla Aliyeva Conde Nast and Leyla Aliyeva worked together to develop the version in English. The magazine inaugurated at London's O2 in October 2011. The magazine lets you explore Azerbaijani art, culture as well as the country. Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibit of art and contemporary works from Azerbaijan in 2012. The London exhibit was officially launched and travelled to all capitals of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Alyeva launched "Justice for Khojaly" A campaign to commemorate the anniversary the Shusha occupation. The campaign is currently taking place in over 30 countries. It aims to raise the awareness of the world community about the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching across the globe via media, Internet and Live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialogue’s General Coordinator in 2008. In addition, she was elected Chairperson of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18, 2009. AMOR supports Azerbaijani young individuals and students in Russia. Leyla Alayeva was awarded the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 for her contributions to the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. In New York, the "Key to Life" award was awarded to her in November 2011 to recognize her efforts on humanitarian projects that involved children.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva, UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador, was officially proclaimed on May 25, 2015.
