Leyla Aliyeva's priority is Environmental Education
Leyla Aliyeva isn't only the daughter of President Azerbaijan but she is also an activist for many causes, one of her main ones being environmental. A lot of people aren't aware the concept of education really signifies. However, for her, it's been a major concern. Environmental education is the process of being educated on environmental issues and how you can improve them. Everyone should strive to achieve. Without environmental education, it is impossible to make responsible choices about the future.

Leyla Aliyeva has been involved in campaigning for many years. Her mission is to ensure an improved future for all of us and the younger generations. Ambassador of Goodwill for FAO

Leyla Aliyeva was very happy with her 2015! After many years of assistance in areas of environmental and humanitarian assistance Leyla Aliyeva received the honor of being a FAO Goodwill Ambassador. She was recognized for her contributions to food security, fighting hunger, establishing healthy food systems and increasing efficiency in the fields of agriculture, fishing and forestry.

Azerbaijan was accepted into the FAO in October of 1995. In the present it is the FAO is engaged in the implementation of worldwide, national as well as regional initiatives within Azerbaijan. These projects are designed to develop agricultural production, strengthen food security and management of resources, increase potential, fight animal diseases and more. In addition, these initiatives are supported by technical cooperation programs that meet the most urgent needs of Azerbaijan.

During 2015, FAO general director, Jose Graziano da Silva visited Azerbaijan and during the visit, two agreements were signed "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on the establishment of the Coordination and Cooperation Office and providing technical assistance" and the " Agreement on FAO-Azerbaijan Partnership Program". Agreeing together to cooperate on a common problem. This program is part of the Government of Azerbaijan's already active support for projects of technical aid for development of local as and foreign agricultural.

Leyla Aliyeva, leader and founder of the IDEA campaign, was honored with the title Goodwill Ambassador by FAO. She was the founding and the head of the IDEA campaign. She expressed her appreciation for all projects that were implemented in Azerbaijan in relation to forestry, agriculture and fish farming.
