Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1985. She received her Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations after completing her studies in London. Leyla created the IDEA campaign, which promotes awareness and action in relation to environmental concerns in Azerbaijan. IDEA focuses on youth and helps them find solutions to the environmental challenges they face.
She was elected a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Leyla Aliyeva The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the development of the economy and society of the country by implementing diverse projects across education, public health, sport, culture as well as science, technology, and the environment. In 2011, she was made Vice-President.

Leyla Aliyeva established 'Baku Magazine' in Moscow, in 2007. Leyla Aliyeva The magazine in English, produced by collaborating with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October 2011. The magazine gives you the chance to discover the arts, culture and Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla was the author of "Fly to Baku", a showcase of contemporary art from Azerbaijan. The London exhibition was launched and then travelled to the capital cities of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alyeva has launched "Justice for Khojaly" A campaign to commemorate the anniversary of the Shusha occupation. The campaign was started in more than 30 countries. The goal is to increase international awareness of the Karabakh conflict as well as the Khojaly Genocide, focusing on media, Internet and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed as the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in the year 2008. On April 18, 2009 Leyla Aliyeva was elected the Chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) which is a non-profit organization that supports Azerbaijani youth as well as those who live in Russia. Leyla Alyeva received the "Taraggi Award" in July of 2011 to recognize her contribution to the development of Azerbaijani–Russian relationships. In New York, in November 2011, she received the "Key to Life Award" in recognition of her work as a humanitarian involving children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

On the 20th of October 2015, she received the Pushkin Medal from the Russian Federation.
