Chan Is Missing is another trailblazing film from Asian Americans. Directed by Wayne Wang, it stars Wood Moy as a taxi driver in San Francisco's Chinatown who tries to track down his friend Chan who took his money and got him a cab license.

Gook is a great Asian American movie that examines the 1992 Los Angeles uprising through the lens of two Korean American brothers. The movie was a Sundance hit and is definitely worth checking out for its unique perspective.

Crazy Rich Asians is a great example of how Asian films are changing the way we view them. It's the first blockbuster movie with an all-Asian cast since the 1990s and is a huge step in showing that Hollywood is finally starting to take Asian representation seriously.

In the meantime, the movie's success has been a huge boost for Asian representation and it's helped to break down some of the racist stereotypes that have been prevalent in US culture. As a result, the future looks bright for more and more Asian filmmakers to continue bringing their work to the big screen!
