Metalcore

Metalcore Atreyu were originally formed in Yorba Linda California in 1998. They have released eight studio album. Their first album was the Visions EP. Victory Records signed the band in 2001. They were previously known under the name Retribution. atreyumerch became their new name as they evolved in musical style. At the moment, the lineup includes Brandon Saller, Travis Miguel and Dan Jacobs, as well as Marc McKnight and Kyle Rosa as bassists.

The band was an integral part of Linkin Park’s Projekt Revolution, and the KROQ-FM Epicenter program. In December 2011, the band released Hail the Cycophants, an EP. The release included songs that were rewritten with new lyrics. It was also available live.

Atreyu’s latest album, Begin Again is out August 9, 2011. This album is not quite as heavy-metalcore as their previous albums, but has a sound more reminiscent of Breaking Benjamin. This album features clean vocals.
Pop punk

Atreyu, a metal band with a huge fan base, is known for their music. They have headlined shows with Linkin Park or Bring Me The Horizon and have sold thousands of tickets. They've been making music since 1995 and recently released Baptize. Their new album is an expression of their past achievements over the years. It's packed with rock anthems, party songs, and a lot more.

While the band has seen a lot of changes in their lineup, they have always remained true to their roots. In the early 2000s they started with Alex Varkatzas who was their lead vocalist. Brandon Saller eventually took their place. John Feldmann, their producer, was on the record of their debut album Lead Sails. They could record in two sections. One part was recorded at Los Angeles' studio and the other was done in New York.
Alternatives

Atreyu are an American metalcore band hailing out of Yorba Linda. The group formed in 1998, and Victory Records signed them since 2001. The group consists of Brandon Saller (vocals), Kyle Rosa(drums), Marc "Porter” McKnight ("bass"), Dan Jacobs (“guitar”) and Dan Jacobs (“guitar”). Fake Figures and Hell or Highwater are two of their side projects.

They are most famous for their 2005 single, Revolution, from their self-titled debut. Their videos have been featured on URanium's Headbangers Ball. Other music videos by the band include "Clear," Revolution," and "Rebellion." They have released several singles and EPs since their return from hiatus in 2011. Their most recent release was Begin Again which was released August 2011. It's an acoustic-rock album that features clean vocals and not the heavy metalcore sounds they have released on previous albums.
Hard rock

The Atreyu group is a hard rock act from Orange County. It was founded in 1998. They have recorded eight studio albums and been playing live shows ever since 2014.

Atreyu used to be called Retribution. Their debut album, Suicide Notes/Butterfly Kisses, was released in May. It gained considerable traction and attracted a loyal following. Initially, their sound was aggressively punk but later, they developed a pop sensibility.

Atreyu has a blend of hardcore, thrash, and Swedish Death Metal. While they haven’t been able to go as far as to call themselves a “metalcore” band, they have been known for creating a high-energy, shout-driven sound.

Atreyu have been on tour with Slipknot, Linkin Park and Bring Me The Horizon as a group. They've also been featured on soundtracks to films. They also performed at Knotfest (a festival organized by Slipknot).
Psychedelic music
