> Patronus dibedakan menjadi dua berd. sifatnya:
a. Patronus Sempurna (CORPOREAL)
=> dpt menghadapi dementor, lethifold dan menjadi alat komunikasi
b. Patronus Tidak Sempurna (INCORPOREAL)
=> terjadi ketika memori kebahagiaan yang diingat oleh si pemantra kurang bahagia.
=> hanya dpt menghadapi dementor dan lethifold saja
[inti: P. Sempurna > P. Tidak Sempurna]
> Patronus setiap orang berbeda, tergantung:
a. Sifat
b. Objek kebahagiaan si pemantra
> Bentuk: astral, tidak berwarna dan hanya berupa gumpalan asap
