Personal Alarms NZ Indoor Temperature and Air Quality Monitoring: Some PERS units monitor the indoor temperature to prevent medical emergencies and falls, while others use sensors to measure carbon dioxide levels and volatile organic compounds in the air. When the temperature or air quality is outside a user’s safe range, the device automatically contacts the monitoring center and sends app notifications to the user and caregivers.
