CHINESE FIREBALL - BOLA API CINA
(Kadang-kadang disebut naga singa) Satu-satunya naga dari negeri timur yang berpenampilan mencolok. Berwarna merah tua dan bersisik halus, naga ini memiliki jumbai yang terdiri atas duri-duri emas disekeliling wajahnya yang bermoncong pendek dan matanya yang amat menonjol.
Dinamai bola api karena lidah api berbentuk jamur yang menyembur dari lubang hidung mereka ketika ia marah.Beratnya antara dua dan empat ton, yang betina lebih besar dibanding yang jantan.Telurnya berwarna merah menyala dengan bintik-bintik emas, kulit telurmya bernilaitinggi dalam dunia sihir cina.Bola api sangat agresif tapi lebih toleran terhadap jenisnya sendiri dibanding kebanyakan naga sejenisnya, kadang-kadang dengan senang berbagi wilayah dengan dua atau lebih naga lainnya.Bola api gemar melahap hewan mamalia, namun mereka lebih suka memangsa babi dan manusia.

Naga Hijau Wales berpadu baik dengan rumput lebat di negerinya, meski mereka bersarang di gunung-gunung yang lebih tinggi, di mana dibuat cagar alam untuk tempatpemeliharaan mereka. Meski terjadi kehebohan berkaitan dengan Insiden Ilfracombe, sebenarnya Naga ini termasuk jenis yang paling tidak suka mengganggu.
Seperti Opaleye, mereka lebih suka memangsa domba dan secaraaktif menghindari manusia, kecuali bila diusik. Raungan Naga Hijau Wales mudah dikenali dan, anehnya, nadanya merdu. Semburan apinya tipis. Telurnya berwarna cokelattanah berbintik hijau.
