Another week has gone by and we are busy removing bugs at the Mojang office. Apart from that we're now letting everyone take part of our obfuscation maps, which will make your life easier if you're interested in creating mods for Minecraft: Java Editon.

Obfuscation maps are now published with all future releases of the game. Add features previously found in other Minecraft editions - Honey bottles are now filled less frequently - Fixed bugs
Modding
We've decided to simplify the process of modding the game by releasing our game obfuscation map in every release of the game. Anyone who is interested can decode and navigate the code without having to spend months trying to determine what it is. We hope mod authors and mod framework developers use these files to improve their updating processes that they currently. These maps will be available, instantly and immediately, as part of every new version. This does not alter the limitations regarding what you can and cannot do with our assets or game code. The version manifest json contains links to the obfuscation maps. They can be pulled automatically for any version.
