What is the NoPixel GTA RP Public Server?

The Grand Theft Auto role playing scene has seen a dramatic increase in the number of viewers on Twitch due to streamers like Sykkuno, XQC and others. This has led to more people wanting to be involved.



Unfortunately, the main whitelisted server is unable to join (unless you're an avid user of Twitch or are willing to make a donation and wait). NoPixel however, has created a second public server that can be joined by other users. Most notably, XQC has joined the server following his suspension from the whitelisted server.



However, XQC isn't the only streamer to join. The NoPixel server has gained a lot of traction due to hosting streamers from whitelisted servers. You could possibly join the public NoPixel Server and play with your favorite streamers. Although you shouldn't attempt to stream snipe them, as it will result in a short ban on the server.

It is easy to join NoPixel’s public server for GTA RP, especially if the game is already installed on your computer. This server is not available for console play as you have to install the FiveM mod to play.



The long wait times in queues is one of the disadvantages of trying to play on the server. As Reddit user R4nd0mnumbrz noted that there are lots of people attempting to join at one time. Others have pointed out that it has reached as high as 2000 at times.



These numbers were in the year of the introduction of the public servers however, wait times have been reduced since the time of the launch. Still, it's a long wait in case you don't get priority.

Reddit user, jjhassert, said that there are a variety of tiers for users who want to avoid long wait times. Although as the NoPixel store indicates that these are subscription-based, so there's no one-time cost, they're a monthly fee.





NoPixel GTA RP Public Server Dev Coins

The server's public servers offer something called Dev Coins, an exchange of real-world currency to in-game currency. The store warns that "value of Dev Coins can fluctuate." However, based on JJhassert's Reddit post, $100 of real-world currency is worth 90 Dev Coins. 1 Dev Coin is equivalent to $1000 in-game currency. Therefore, a real-world currency of $100 would get you $90,000 in-game currency based off that market.





What is the NoPixel GTA RP Public Server?

After their main whitelisted server gained more popularity then the NoPixel server was established. Fivem Although the NoPixel server is well-established but the whitelisted server streamers use most often is NoPixel 3.0.



The public server lets anyone join, and it has its advantages and disadvantages. It allows people to play on the server that isn't whitelisted. This is an obvious advantage. There are many people who just love the role-playing aspect but do not have an Twitch audience to broadcast to.



The disadvantage is fairly evident. Since anyone can join, it can lead to those who join to stream snipe, or to do something foolish. It's easy to report these gamers in-game and have them banned.





Who is on the NoPixel GTA RP open server?

XQC is the most popular player on the server. He easily draws in over 100,000 viewers on many of his streams, and has kind of made the public server his own because he's unable to play on the whitelisted server. Many streamers who play on whitelisted servers have moved to the public server.



We've seen Sykkuno become a cop after joining Yuno's character. Buddha turned Mr. Lang into a cop on the public server , too. Ramee, RatedEpicz, Blautoise, Burn and many others have also played the public server in the past.
