Putri sulung keluarga kim ini memiliki dua adik, satu lelaki dan satu perempuan bernama Kim xxx dan Kim Chaewon.
Ayah nya- Kim Taeguk merupakan pengusaha sukses di bidang export perikanan, Ibu nya- Jo Gyuri sendiri memiliki usaha di bidang fashion yang membuat keduanya terlalu disibukkan oleh urusan duniawi.
Risae dan kedua adiknya dari kecil di sekolahkan di kota New York dengan alasan pendidikan di sana akan jauh lebih baik dari pada di Korea.
Ya walaupun Risae selalu bilang kalau kita adalah anak yang 'di buang' agar tidak mengganggu Papa dan Mama, malahan hal tersebut membuat hubungan mereka bertiga menjadi lebih membutuhkan satu sama lainnya.
Risae dan kedua adik nya memutuskan untuk kembali ke tanah kelahiran nya- Korea. Ketiga bersaudara ini membuka suatu usaha di bidang xxx secara bersama-sama. Ya karena mereka ingin hidup sendiri dan mandiri tanpa kedua orang tuanya toh mereka sudah biasa sendiri juga kan ?
