Minecraft mods can do many things nowadays, but some of the most innovative ones add in unexpected features. Some let you see forever, others allow you to drive Mario Karts and some make the game into an Elden Ring. The Mi Alliance mod is something completely different and it's amazing.
The Mi Alliance: Invasion! mod was released in June however, it's been continuously updated since then to smooth out the kinks, and to include new features. This Minecraft mod adds in new enemies, dubbed Mi Alliance. Mi Alliance.
The Mi Alliance, aside from sounding like old-school Worms characters in their appearance It's actually quite powerful. For starters, they're more than happy to build their own structures, which is odd enough on its own. They're also more intelligent than the majority of Minecraft mobs and can roam around the globe in groups, ready to fight anyone they meet. You can watch them in action in the initial trailer for the mod.
You're not required to take down these threats on your own though, and you can actually build your own Mi Alliance and command them to fight on your behalf alongside you. The 2.0 update that was released this week (July 18) is a significant addition to the mod, including more weapons, enemies, and ores, too. There are even unique vehicles to explore, and new ruin sites to explore the depths of.
It's an extremely ambitious mod that will make Minecraft feel new again for long-time users. If the updates keep coming at the same rate you can expect it to develop into something truly unique over the next few months. It's always exciting to see a mod evolve from something excellent to something new, and The Mi Alliance is no exception.
