Minecraft Players Build the Biggest City Ever, and it is Incredibly Realistic

Minecraft Players Build the Biggest City Ever, It's Incrediblely Realistic

Minecraft players are an ambitious bunch, and they never cease to amaze us with their realistic creations on a game that is basically made of blocks and sharp edges. Minecraft has probably surpassed what the creators of it thought it would ever be, and it is certainly thrilling to see different teams' different takes on the game.

We are pleased to would like to welcome you to the town of Greenfield which is the largest city on Minecraft and was built from August 2011.

Just a few days ago, Redditor @NJDaeger shared the most recent update to their city Greenfield with the following statement "We've been working on this Minecraft City since 2011. This is where we are on our journey. Let's just say that it looks amazing.

Constructed to an 1:1 scale

The city is built on the 1:1 scale, meaning that 1 block is equal to 1 cubic meter. It is designed to make any feel like they're walking around a real city.

And it truly feels as a real city, with its tall buildings wealthy suburbs factories, ports, city utilities, highways trains, subways, and railways.

The map also contains little Easter eggs and secrets for anyone who is interested enough to search for them.

Started in 2011, still ongoing

Greenfield project started in 2011 and is being developed until today. There are always new updates and new locations you can explore.

The map is so vast that it's difficult to capture it in just only a few images.

The amount of detail and thought that goes into this device is astounding. It is meticulously constructed and carefully planned on a large scale.

There is no coronavirus on Minecraft

This map is an incredible relief in these times, when we are locked down at our homes and the cities are shut down. You can walk the streets without any corona, and spend a wonderful time looking at the details of the city.

You can check out the entire map here. It's amazing and feels like you are in Sims edition 68. You'll be happy downloading the map.
