A lifestyle is a set of social practices and behavioural orientations a person has in order to function and live. Lifestyles are created in a particular cultural, economic, religious and political context. It may include views on politics, religion and health.

There are many factors that contribute to a person's lifestyle, most notably diet and exercise. Diet plays a significant role in the health of people, both physically and mentally. Consumption of a healthy diet is associated with a number of health benefits, including preventing obesity. Furthermore, continuous exercise will improve overall health.
