Minecraft maestro Markus Persson recently updated his blog with a status report on his new studio Mojang Specifications and information about the coming Halloween update for the game. He notes that Mojang has found a facility that has six employees including three programmers, a pixel artist, an executive and an executive developer.
In the update for Halloween, Persson says it will include six new types of blocks, five of which have "unique abilities." A new monster, a brand new dimension as well as portals will be added. ryo mail Persson revealed in a subsequent tweet that the portals will eventually be able to link to different Minecraft servers, but this functionality won't be implemented in the near future.
Are monsters able to use portals? If so, we totally would not construct an interdimensional monster funnel that leads directly into the inside of a player's carefully constructed fortress. So please feel free to invite us to a game and let us be in the back room for a short period of time ... okay?
