Description of Duties
Repack donations of frozen veggies and other frozen food into family-sized portions. To keep your hands warm and cozy, we provide liners for your food-safe gloves. Volunteers work in a room kept at 50 degrees.
Minumum Age
6 and Up
Requirements
Age 6 and up. Volunteers under 18 years old must provide signed youth
release form. All volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult
who is registered for the same shift.
Must be comfortable bending and standing on concrete in a temperature-controlled (50 degree) room.
Because we work with open food, you won't be able to work if you're sick.
Chaperone Requirements:
Grades K-5 - one adult for every five students.
Grades 6-8 - one adult for every seven students.
Grades 9-12 - one adult for every 10 students.
MUST WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES, WEAR WARM CLOTHES, SIGN FORM IN CLUB
