Minecraft and magic have mingled a few times recently. One of the most famous of these magical mix-ups is Spellcraft the free DLC that contains more than 20,000 spells and some new ways to use the spells. However, the fan-made EpicSpellsPlugin is definitely worth paying attention to too.
We wrote about the plugin in May. It was quite impressive at the time, but it seems that development has continued at an impressive rate since then. Need Realtor As Morica_ on Reddit writes in a post, they've added the ability to cast spells with no commands. Simply rename the stick "Magic Wand" and then make a sneaky entrance to draw symbols in the air.
The video demonstrates some of the spells and the ability to tie them according to your preferences to various motions. It's all very esoteric. This is exactly the feeling that magic should aim for. Morica_ explains a few additional features in the comments but the one that stands out is the one Morica_ refers to.
When asked if it was possible to create custom spells, Morica_ replied with "Yes! Although it is unlikely to happen within the next few months it is something I would really like to see. I also code spells to ensure that they can be used with pre-made items." This basically means that spells can be customized using items already included in the game. This could be the most effective way to experience Hogwarts Legacy, without having to buy the game.
