Are you looking for the Hogwarts map on Minecraft? If you're familiar with the massive Harry Potter Minecraft map mod that got a playable beta release earlier this year. The mod recreates the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a massive map and RPG game within the vanilla version of Mojang's block-builder. You can now go to Hogwarts in Minecraft for real.



This map is provided by The Floo Network, a modding group that created this impressive and huge creation. They also announced the Minecraft Hogwarts map launch on Planet Minecraft. "Hello everyone! Get your wands ready! We're finally releasing our map, an interactive RPG built for vanilla Minecraft!" The post also includes the reveal of the brand new download trailer. You can view it below.



The creation's humble title"Witchcraft and Wizardry: The Floo Network' doesn't do justice to the value it brings to the table. As you can see in the video below, nearly all the iconic aspects of Hogwarts and the world of the Harry Potter books are represented faithfully brick-by brick. There are images of Hogwarts' vast, intricate network of dungeons, halls, and other halls as well as towers and classrooms that are filled with the annoyances and the magic of the Harry Potter books. We are not certain that there exists a Minecraft Hogwarts Seed that will magically recreate an exact replica. You can find it to download at Planet Minecraft. It is worth noting that Witchcraft and Wizardry are only available for Minecraft Java Edition (versions 1.16 to 1.16.4).



If you're running the Bedrock Edition that's available on PC but not on mobile, then you won't be allowed to play this version.





Harry Potter Minecraft features

Where exactly do you go in this Minecraft Hogwarts map? You can explore the beautiful suburban street of Privet Drive, and the entire area of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. There is a massive banquet packed with delicious food and candles that hang like a genie as you enter the chambers. You will also find many staircases and hallways that are decorated with paintings of famous students, as well as libraries stuffed with towering bookshelves.



It's more than just a map. You can cast spells with your magical wand and explore dungeons filled with challenges based on magic. You can also go shopping with your friends in Diagon Alley or encounter some of the terrifying Dementors and Cornish Pixies. You can also play Quidditch.



The map has been updated to include the complete RPG storyline. Everything from buying your first wand, school books and robes at Diagon Alley, to experiencing your first flight lesson at Hogwarts. We won't ruin any of the major surprise, but let's suggest that you might have to summon a Patronus Charm to ward off any possible villains lurking in the dark...



Best of all, in Minecraft Hogwarts' grounds, you'll find everyone's favorite half-giant, Hagrid, tending to his gamekeeping duties. The mod's creators would like to thank you for your support and positive words throughout the process.
