The night it all took place
It was 11:53pm on the 17th of November and the fog hung over us like a coat on a hanger. It seemed like no other living thing was around us for miles... or was there? In front of me and Jane (my sidekick who had long, brown, curly hair that hung down her back like a thick luxurious curtain) was a big building with lamps on either side of the grand yet rotten door. The dim lights flickered in a somewhat disturbing pattern. I knew that this was going to be a eventful night.

We were sent here because there had been reports of loud noises which occurred every night and worse of all John Malone (A young student at Queens University) had been reported missing and was last seen wondering around this area a few weeks ago and was never seen since.

I turned to my colleague and she looked at me in a frightful manner. Dramatically the large door swung open so this lead us to believe there was something very unusual about this place. We entered the building unsure if we would see the outdoors again.

We walked in and it looked very run down and like no one had been here for decades. All of the sudden we heard footsteps resulting in us hiding under the staircase in a little cubby hole which made you short of breath with just the thought of it. I took one glance out of the gap of the door and there before me was JOHN! I couldn't believe my eyes
"Jane look its John"
In all the excitement Jane burst out of the cubby hole and shouted
"John, John we found you!"
slowly he turned around and... half his face was torn to shreds! Jane was in shock as much as I was but she couldn't handle then she fell to the floor as if a ton of bricks had hit her. At this point I still remained in the door under the stairs and watched as john lifted up Jane and took her up into the attic. I was full of emotions and couldn't control them one minute I was over joyed to see John the next horrified when he turned around and frankly scarred of what was going to happen to Jane or even me.

I ran to the door we entered from but to my disbelief it was locked, no matter how hard I pulled it wouldn't budge. As I
