A great and terrible grief darkened the land, banishing all happiness and hope. Deep in his despair the king could see no reprieve from this hideous nightmare visited so often upon his people by this fearful monster. The monster was called Kroberus. The beast was as big as a two story building. Its whole body had plated armor. Its teeth were as long as a banana and sharper than a knife. Every time it roared it almost caused an earthquake. With each step it took the ground shattered. It had a foul and pungent smell and its claws were as long as an unsharpened pencil. By now the story of this tragedy had spread far and wide, across the water in a land far away. No one cared about it. But only one of them, the greatest and the bravest of all princes - Alexander he was called - decided this evil beast should be punished for all his wrongdoing and that his people will be saved at last.
