1. Atorvastatin (Generic Lipitor)
Atorvastatin is used to treat high cholesterol, and to lower the risk of stroke or heart attack.
2. Levothyroxine (Generic Levo-T, Synthroid)
Levothyroxine treats hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone). It is also used to treat or prevent goiter (enlarged thyroid gland).
3. Lisinopril (Generic Prinivil, Zestril)
Lisinopril is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or congestive heart failure. It is also used to improve survival after a heart attack.
4. Metformin (Generic Riomet)
Metformin is used to improve blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes.
5. Amlodipine (Generic Norvasc)
Amlodipine is used to treat high blood pressure. It is a calcium channel blocker, which relaxes blood vessels.
6. Metoprolol (Generic Toprol, Lopressor)
Metoprolol is a beta-blocker used to treat high blood pressure, chest pain, and heart failure.
