Concern has been raised about his weight growth. Many believe it could be an indication of an eating disorder or mental illness. He also has signs of sleep apnea or incontinence, and is often asked to shower. This has led to many discussions about his mental state and many individuals have suggested the man should undergo therapy to help him lose weight.


He was also accused of being a bully by YouTuber Stephanie Soo after she posted a video on her channel entitled "Why I'm scared of Nikocado Avocado." In the video, Soo claimed that Nikocado pursued her and even took pictures inside her house while she was away. Nikocado Avocado Hoodie started a campaign to protest Nikocado's actions and was backed by Hyunee Eats and Karlee Steel as well as Veronica Wang.

He uploaded a video on September 20, 2021 in which he said he had broken three of his ribs and was bedridden. He also claims he has sleep apnea, which is the reason he wears a machine to breathe to treat.


Nikocado is also famous for posting some of the most sexually explicit images of himself with his wife Orlin. These images were a big popular with his followers however he advised people to not leak the images. He has also been suing copyright for many meme channels that have videos of him, resulting in many of them being terminated.
