Treat other Members of the Community with Respect

Your use of Minecraft is governed by the Microsoft Services Agreement ("MSA"). The Code of Conduct section of Microsoft Services Agreement applies to all Microsoft products and also the Xbox Community Standards . However, as Minecraft continues to grow and introduce new Minecraft games to its catalog The Minecraft franchise offers new features, such as new ways to interact, that could benefit from more explanation. We have developed the following Community Standards to help you comprehend the Minecraft franchise. These standards provide a framework to guide how the Minecraft community should interact with each other and the game to ensure that our community is an enjoyable, safe and enjoyable one.



We want to ensure that players enjoy the same, welcoming and inclusive game experience when playing any of our games that fall under the Minecraft franchise. We want to make sure that players are able to adhere to the Community Standards when they play any of our Minecraft franchise games.





Community Standards

These handy Community Standards cover gameplay using Mojang-provided online services. This includes things like Featured Servers for platforms based on the Bedrock Engine and Realms. These policies might not apply to specific games or websites. Make sure you read these policies.



Respect the other members of the community. This is core to everything we believe in. If you want to voice your opinion be sure to do it politely and respectfully.



o If there's a chat option available in a game, or on a website, be mindful of other users' experiences. This includes avoiding overly frequent posting or spamming. All-caps may also be read as yelling. The act of yelling at someone isn't always very nice.

Our friendly moderators are ready to assist you if you have a dispute with another player or have an unpleasant experience. Contact them and/or report the player using the tools provided within the game. Whatever the case, don't "name and shame" other members of the community in public since this is considered harassment.



You should be cautious before you share any information. Don't share personal information (phone numbers email addresses, passwords, passwords, account information physical addresses first and last names, etc) about yourself or other people.



o You are not allowed to promote any type of illegal activities.



o Create content and conversation that is positive and encouraging instead of negative and disparaging. It is important to remember that posts and content should not be made to start an argument or provoking negative responses.



o Minecraft has an anti-hate policy that prohibits bullying, hate speech, harassing sexual solicitation, threats to others.



Do not divulge your account information to anyone. We won't ask you for your password and you shouldn’t give it.



Modding in Minecraft is not permitted in the base Minecraft game.

How to submit an example study

Any player who meets the following criteria may submit an appeal:



- Has an active enforcement action. The enforcement is more than 24 hours long. - The enforcement was issued within the last 12 months.
