A new Minecraft game has made its world premiere at the Xbox Summer Games Fest - one that allows you to build structures and command your friends to fight enemies. Xbox Games Studios showed a video of Minecraft Legends and announced that the game's new strategy-action will be available in 2023. It was developed in partnership with Blackbird Interactive and will feature an online campaign co-op mode as well as a competitive multiplayer mode. Dennis Ries, the executive producer of the game said that the studio will release more information about them later in the year.
In Minecraft Legends, you'll need to protect the Overworld, with its rich resources and natural resources from an invading army of piglins. You'll need to form alliances and take on strategic battles against the invading troops. Ries said that the game will include an exciting campaign that will bring many surprises to both new and seasoned Minecraft players. Although the developer hasn't divulged much information about the game, they promised to release more details in the near future.
