His father the elder T.E Oyakhilome (Assemblies of God Church, Benin City) was one of the first pioneers. His firstborn son Pastor Chris was a true source of inspiration for him. It truly is an honor to be raised in a Christian household.

We can feel the pride his father must have felt as his son started to share the Gospel message of Jesus Christ being our Savior. The young Chris Oyakhilome was likely to have had a profound influence from his father's efforts. At nine years old He began his first crusade.

Pastor Chris and his wife Anita have two amazing daughters through their marriage. His ex-wife Anita may not have been keen to continue their union but they are still extremely happy with their lovely daughters Carissa and Charlene. Both of them reside in London at the moment.

Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon has turned into a rising gospel superstar. She was influenced by her father, and she wrote the award-winning "Holy Spirit", a testament of her deeply held Christian faith. She is also a mentor in the Global Youth Leaders Forum.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Nephew Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren, is one of Africa's most promising leaders. He is using his talents to inspire young people to be inspired by the Word of God. He is a successful businessman and director of Carel Films Enterprise. His goal is to share the Good News by using modern communication techniques. He is responsible for the production of over 100 Christian music videos and animated films such as "I Know Who I Am" by Sinach, "Kinging" by Rozey, "Igbunu" by Micheal Jaffe, "Untouchable" by TB1, amongst many others.

He had won the American Academy of Animations Award three times by the age of 20. Also, he was the Walt Disney Award winner and was a candidate for the Future African Leaders Award FALA. The real genius of him lies shining through the talents of other people.
