Minecraft is one of the most popular sandbox games in the world, and Genshin Impact is possibly the most ambitious free-to-play RPG currently available. While they don't have many things in common Genshin Impact has certainly helped them come together thanks to this video.
Now, the title of the video is "Who is the need for Grenades If You Have... Pocket Creeper?" which made us believe that this was an actual Minecraft mod and not a Genshin one but we've had our share of scams before. Stockalicious.Com The video shows Alex making a cute little creeper from clay, which is one of our favorite things, even before it explodes. It does get a cuddle afterward which is nice.
H4xolotl posted the video on Reddit, and it turns out it's not just a small mod that turns Amber into Alex as well as every character , and some other bits. While the general aesthetic of Genshin Impact is there, the creatures have all been replaced with Minecraft mobs. The Teyvat greens are lush, and the zombies appear strangely at ease in them, but things like their boat have been changed.
It's quite a ride from beginning to end, and it has us thinking about when we'll get an immersive Minecraft RPG. While Minecraft Dungeons is an immense amount of fun, and Minecraft Legends looks interesting, it's not as enjoyable as actually being able to go sailing after throwing an adorable creeper or fighting off a gang of zombies using fancy martial arts moves and a spear.
In other weird versions of Minecraft that don't exist, have you seen IKEA's version of the game? This is yet another bizarre foray into the bizarre. Enjoy!
