Minecraft Snapshot 20w13b

Have you ever thought you would like to ride across lava fields? Yeah? Info Yes! This photo introduces the adorable(?) Strider. It may need some assistance in navigating.



Edit: We've just released 20w13b to fix a couple of bugs.



Fixed bugs in 20w13b



MC-175177: Exercising or obstructing or breaking an anchor that respawns causes ghost blocks in overworld when breaking them MC-175988. A softlock is a condition that stops you from communicating with the world after you have died in the nether or the end.



New Features in 20w13a



- Added lodestone – Added Strider. Basalt is formed by lava flowing over soul soil in the vicinity of blue ice. Villagers who farm now have the ability to compost seeds



Lodestone



It is made from Netherite Ingot and chiseled stone bricks. To make a lodestone-compass pointing at that lodestone, use a compass to place the Lodestone.



Strider



Striders are able to walk on top of lava. They can be saddled, but has its own rules. The smell is a favorite of warped fungi. It could even be enticed to follow it.



Farmer Villagers



Farmers can now put extra seeds in the composter to make bone meal. Bone meal is used by the farmers to grow crops - Farmers donate excess wheat to other farmers, so more farmers can bake bread



Changes in 20w13a



- Now you're more likely to acquire soul speed boots and books by bartering. You can charge the anchor to respawn by using dispensers



Technical Changes in 20w13a



- Jigsaw Block: A fishing location is now considered open water if it has a fishing hook in it. There are no blocks other than lily pads above the water and all water blocks are source blocks with no solid underwater blocks around.

- Jigsaw now has 12 possible orientations. - New property Joint type allows you to indicate if an attached piece can be rotated (rollable), or not (aligned). - Target_pool NBT field has been renamed pool. Attachment_type has been divided into the target (on child block) and name (on parent block).
