Terraria for Stadia was cancelled, and now it's back on- Stadia is in an uncertain time currently and it certainly didn't help that Re-Logic initially cancelled Terraria. Stadia users are pleased to hear that it's back in operation.



The game Valheim has truly become an absolute runaway hit and it's been out less than a month! A survival game featuring Vikings running around in co-op, cutting down trees, and fighting up against bosses of all sizes.



- OpenTTD, the free and open source simulation game that is based on Transport Tycoon Deluxe is officially coming to Steam on April 1st and the Linux version will be available as well.



- Valve have once again been in the headlines for the wrong reasons, following the decision of the EU Commission over geo-blocking, an action that involved game pricing, and the Steam Controller is also in the spotlight.



Portal 2, the classic puzzle game created by Valve has been given a major update. It now has Vulkan API support thanks to the DXVK project.



Pioneer is a great example of a long-running, free and open-source game that has been successful. A brand new version is also available that updates many of the most important components.



Google announced that they will be closing SG&E (Stadia Games & Entertainment) and will no longer be playing first-party games. This is an announcement that is sure to raise lots of anxiety and raise eyebrows.



- Valve are under the legal spotlight again following the EU Commission Fine with a few more Steam problems, as a new lawsuit has emerged with a claim regarding an "abuse" of their market power.



After a few months of waiting, Wildfire Games have released an important update for the free and open source real-time strategy game Zero A.D. with Alpha 24 available.



Are you in need of an exciting new physics simulation? What about one that is free open source and can be played in multiplayer? Rigs of Rods may be the game for you. They've released an updated version.



- Here's a quick update on Zink the forthcoming OpenGL on the top of Vulkan Implementation announced by Collabora. It has been moving in a steady manner.



SEGA/Creative Assembly just officially announced Total War: WARHAMMER III. The good news is that the port Feral Interactive immediately confirmed it was supported on Linux (and macOS).



- Despite the rising amount of people who believe Stadia won't remain for long, we're in the middle of another year and Google has announced that more than 100 games will be released for Stadia through 2021.



GTA III and Vice City were released with the hope for a modern method of playing them, however, the rights holder completely ended our hopes.



- Minetest is the free and open source voxel game engine, inspired initially by Minecraft it's slowly becoming bigger and better, with a variety of games available for it.



A new biweekly development release is available for the Windows compatibility layer Wine. It comes with Wine 6.2 bundling up more of the latest and greatest to make it a good release to test.



- Looking for a way to keep your game saves in a safe place and also have an intuitive user interface? Ludusavi is an open source project that is free and free to use that anyone can contribute to.



Do you wish your PC was attractive? Plasma 5.21 is now available. The KDE team has been hard at work to make it attractive and practical.



We just released the DXVK1.8 Direct3D release 9/10/11 to Vulkan, and now we have the VKD3D Proton 2.2 release.



After a short testing period, with the release candidates only announced a few days ago Valve has now released Steam Play Proton 5.1-6.



Stellaris: Nemesis will boost the excitement of the grand space strategy game Paradox. There is an endgame crisis that is new where you have the option of choosing one of the sides.

- Canonical and Ubuntu have big news to announce today Both are about the future of Linux distribution.



- Another day another acquisition, this time with Saber Interactive / Embracer Group purchasing Aspyr Media and so we see the continuing worrying trend of consolidation in the games industry. Gearbox is also part of the deal.
