YouTuber RJMBricks is a specialist in Lego builds, including things like earthquake simulators and a driving sim. This time they've built a working Minecraft piston. The sheer volume of bricks, planning, and effort put into this is incredible. RJMBricks uses different colors to match the in-game version. This makes the textures look right.
The mechanics behind it are fascinating, too, with RJMBricks trying to determine how to make the piston move. Due to the weight of the parts the design issue caused Lego pieces to shift.
The video has proven popular as well. RJMBricks announced that they had 38.875 subscribers when the video was posted 24 April. As of the moment of writing, not only has the video done over 2.2 million views and the channel has more than doubled to 94.8k subscribers. It's always satisfying when hard work is rewarded.
