Minecraft is a game that was released by Mojang Studios. It is a 3D Sandbox game with an uncluttered aesthetic. It is about collecting resources to survive threats to the environment or hostile mobs, navigating the randomly generated terrain as well as creating worlds and sculptures using a variety of colorful blocks and tools, though the game's goal is mostly dependent on the player's input. It was released initially as an indie game for the PC and handheld devices on November 18, 2011. The Wii U version, Minecraft Wii U Edition was released on December 17, 2015. The original game is a reference to the Mario franchise. A painting depicting 100m of Donkey Kong (which was based on a drawing by Kristoffer Zetterstrand) was included in the original game. The game's three Nintendo versions of the game also feature the exclusive Super Mario Mash-up, a complete Mario-themed remake of the game's original items and was made available alongside the Wii U and Nintendo Switch physical editions. On June 21 in 2018, a new version of Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch was released digitally as well as physically. Cross-play is possible with other platforms such as Android, iOS and iPadOS. The Nintendo Switch port is available for free upgrade for those who have purchased it.

Map[edit]

Many large-scale, notable Mario landmarks make an appearance in the pre-built world, including Peach's Castle, Delfino Plaza, an Airship, the Sunken Ghost Ship, and many more generic locations including a Ghost House and end-of-level Castles.



Locations are usually connected via Warp Pipe contraptions or World Map-like paths. Large sprite models as along with 3D statues may be found throughout the map. Treasures, such as Minecraft Music Discs and Gold Ingots are often hidden in places of interest.



In the Minecraft's Nether dimension through a recreation of the Valley of Bowser entrance features an exploration-friendly Bowser's Castle and additional landmarks. Motorsnmore The Nether is inspired by World 8 in modern platformers.

It is evident that various skins were originally going to be used, rather than those used in the final version. The skins include Hooktail being the Ender Dragon in place of Gobblegut, Midbus being the Pigs and Yoshi being the Horses. Another image shows the Ender Chest in a Mr. I-themed design, instead of the Shy Guy-themed one that was released. The original Boomerang Bros Zombie Villagers were dressed in the clothes of the Pianta before being transformed.
