Rami Beracha's advice for students at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya is inspired by his personal experience. Rami is a young man who was adamant about attending law school. He was uncertain if he chose the right path but he continued his education in law, obtaining an MBA in New York, then worked for an international law firm. He realized that he had a passion more in business than he did law while working in the Wall Street law firm. So, he bravely left his job and moved to France to pursue an MBA.

After graduating in the year 1996, Beracha started working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango, the biggest venture capital investment fund in Israel. Pitango is a fund that invests in startups in the early stages, and with a focus on high-tech areas. It has over 200 investment and has 85 exits. Rami became managing partner of Pitango in 2000. He led several deals that led to successful exits for fortune 500 companies such as Broadcom as well as Marvel, Cisco, and Apple over the next 18 years.

He didn't stop there. Globes gave Beracha the award in 2011 as an "Esteemed Partner” award. This recognized him for being an influential investor. Rami launched a new venture called Sosa in 2014. Sosa operates innovation centers in New York City and Tel Aviv and provides assistance to high-tech companies looking for partners with international entrepreneurs interested in working with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently selected to lead the New York City cyber center.

Beracha believes that this is a good moment to invest in the Arab Market, after the recent conclusion of Abraham Accords with Israel and United Arab Emirates. Dubai, a super-modern and wealthy city, is a great spot to begin. The concept behind his latest fund, or Ender Ventures, as he plans to call it, is to recruit Israeli advertising European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in the fields of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, and more. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. The low tax rate and the favorable laws for business will make it a magnet for numerous businesses in the coming years.

While it is evident that Rami Beracha succeeds in everything that he's chosen to pursue, his journey hasn't always been simple. Beracha, like most Israelis, joined the army as a young man. He was an Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and participated during the Lebanon War. In 1983, just after the end of the war, Rami was part of an emergency rescue team that was sent to assist wounded soldiers on a minefield. Rami was unfortunate to have fallen on a hidden mining and suffered a fractured foot and a hand injury.
His hospital stay was among his most difficult experiences. He was in a state of disarray and unable to move and eventually was stricken with depression and despair. All of his dreams to build his military career seemed lost and he didn’t know who or what he was. Rami was able to overcome his suffering and find the motivation to live and chase new goals. He made a decision to be stronger and stronger than he was prior to his injuries. Rami was determined to test new extreme sports. He enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding. He's also trekked up Mount Kilimanjaro. Sometimes, he feels that his unwounded past is pushing forward, even as working to improve.

He gives donations and is a volunteer in numerous organizations. He is extremely dedicated to helping young men, just like him were wounded during combat. In 2016 Rami took a group of men who were injured during their military service in a trip to Nepal. In 2018 , he was awarded the rank of major in the fire brigades and paratroopers within the Israeli military. In spite of the obstacles he encountered the realization of his goals came as a young man. His life and story is a great inspiration to othersto never give up regardless of the situation. Rami did not let his injuries stop him from exploring new ideas and he became stronger each day.
