WHAT ARE SERVERS?

Servers are huge online worlds that were created by our official partners-nice folks from the Minecraft community within the Minecraft community. Each one offers its own unique kind of fun, with minigames that allow you to play with your friends (or enemies) large lobbies in which other players can gather and huge, custom-designed worlds to explore.
CONNECTING TO SERVERS
Your entry into the world of online Minecraft multiplayer is as easy as signing up for an Xbox profile for free. Xbox profile
It's easy to connect with our official server partners - simply look for the "Servers" tab in the Minecraft game menu on your Windows computer, mobile device or tablet, Xbox, Nintendo Switch or PS4. Register for your Xbox profile at no cost (no Xbox required) before you connect. to obtain an Xbox Gamertag or username. This is your username and profile in the Minecraft world. Xbox players will need a full Xbox Live Gold subscription to gain access to all the online features.

SERVERS KEEP PLAYERS ALL AGE SAFE WITH CHAT FILERS AND IN-GAME REPORTING
Everyone should feel welcomed in Minecraft! That's why we insist players get an free Xbox profile before they can join servers. An Xbox profile includes a player's identifier and can be linked to the real player's details so that our support teams can quickly respond to any complaints of inappropriate behavior. Our official server partners, which you find on the in-game Servers tab are also equipped with chat filters that eliminate negative language, email addresses and phone numbers and keep your personal information safe and secure.
Online multiplayer is also blocked for children younger than 13 years old. We offer child accounts to keep them secure. Children under 13 years old have online multiplayer disabled by default. They will not be able to join Realms or servers unless parents change their account settings.
