Minecraft Console Commands and Cheats How to use The Commands

To take the hard work of crafting and speed up inventory navigation, here's a list of handy Minecraft cheats - accomplished by using console commands.

It's not as hard as it sounds, and all is explained below. You can also check out our guide on how you can control a Minecraft fox and how to enable Ray-tracing within the block builder.

First, cheats can only be used only on PC. Console players will need to continue grinding the old-fashioned method. Additionally, they are only available on worlds with cheats enabled - you'll be asked for this when you create a world or when you connect an individual-player game on LAN and then selecting 'Allow Cheats'.

Once you have your cheat-enabled world installed, you'll need to type in a few commands. The first step is to press the C' key to raise the command bar.

The command bar is where you enter the commands, and each one must be prefixed with an forward slash. (/). You'll also have to pick targets to be the recipients of your cheats. However, rather than type out the full names, you can use the shortcuts for a shorthand target selector:

@p = nearest player. @r = random player

@a = all players

- @e = all entities

- @s = the entity executing the command

These are the basics. Now you can enter your cheat by using the following console commands.
