Right on time the beta test for Microsoft's augmented reality Minecraft game is now available for Android players to give it a try. Just like the beta iOS users have had access to, Minecraft Earth is still restricted to registered testers only and only available in five cities: Mexico City, London, Tokyo, Seattle and Stockholm. If you aren't able to access the invite email, then use the link on your mobile device rather than using a computer.
The Minecraft Earth beta recently reset its AR playing field and upgraded to version 2.0.0 on iOS. Crafters Earth reports that the game has introduced familiar mobs like creepers and spiders, along with a variety of challenges and adventures. The in-game store lets players to use the Rubies currency to purchase plates to build and other things. A blog post explains that Android players can purchase them in the game's shop currently with access to iOS to follow shortly. monster Any rubies earned or purchased will stick with a player's account throughout this beta test until the game is fully available.
