How to ride a horse in Minecraft
Follow these steps to tame and ride a horse in Minecraft:
Find a Saddle or Horse Armor. These items are available in chests found in dungeons or nether fortresses. They can also be found in fishing.
Find horses. Horses are usually found wandering through plains or savannas.
To control the horse feed it. Keep giving it food until hearts appear above the head of the horse.
You can attempt to mount an untamed horse, but it's likely to make you nervous. If you try enough times and you are successful, you may be able to mount it.
Select the horse with an empty hand. You'll mount the horse, but you won't be able to manage its movements until now.
Place a Saddle or Horse Armor on your horse. Open your inventory and drag the Saddle into the appropriate box alongside your horse.
Ride your horse. To get off you must press and hold the Sneak button. This button will differ depending on the platform.
PC: Press the left Shift key.

To turn on the joystick press the right button.

Mobile Touch the center button twice
If you press the jump button the blue/green bar underneath your health will begin to fill up. To jump, release the button before the bar is completely out.
What Do Horses Eat in Minecraft?
To tame a horse in Minecraft feed them any of the following items:
- Apples
- Bread
Hay
- Golden Apples
- Golden Carrots
- Sugar
- Wheat
Horse Breeding in Minecraft
Once you've conquered two horses, create a fence around them . Then feed each of them a Golden Apple or Golden Carrot. If you're lucky enough, hearts will appear above their heads, and you'll soon have a little colt. Feed the horse that was born to help it grow into an adult. Wait at least five minutes before trying to breed your horses again.
