To enjoy Minecraft with ray tracing features on Windows 10, you must first have a ray-tracing capable GPU, for example, a GeForce RTX 2060 or higher. Minecraft players who use ray tracing will automatically see all Minecraft content enhanced by an exclusive physically-based rendering pack. This is a combination of effects of ray tracing to enhance the experience. There are many worlds and maps with this feature, all of which are available on the Minecraft Marketplace.

You can also design your own ray tracing universes with physically rendered texture packs (PBRs). Sounds complicated? Don't worry! NVIDIA has developed a fantastic starter kit as well as a useful guide that explains it in a way that even the caveman could understand. This is an excellent opportunity to transform my ugly dirt-filled homes into luxurious eco-lodges.
A good idea to keep in mind is that having ray tracing support for worlds and maps don't alter gameplay mechanics or the way Minecraft works, so you can still play with other players who is using the Bedrock version of Minecraft. Players who do not haveray tracing-capable hardware will see the standard Minecraft visuals that's right, they'll see my dirt... or, lodges... for what they are. It's good that I only accept ratings and comments from ray-tracing players!
There's more! In the end what would a glitzy lighting launch be without some sort of dazzling multiplayer game to explore? The release comes with two new free worlds that include Colosseum RTX (available now) and Dungeon Dash RTX (coming soon). Both can be downloaded from the Minecraft Marketplace.
