Technoblade, 'Minecraft' YouTube Creator, Dies Aged 23

Technoblade the top Minecraft YouTuber, has died aged 23 after a battle with cancer.



The father of the creator uploaded a moving video on YouTube on Thursday titled "so long nerds" with an inscription written by Technoblade himself. The video had been planned with his family members during his final months, but it was written by Technoblade just eight hours prior to his death the father of the creator said. In the message, he revealed his real name: Alex.



"Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're watching this. He wrote, "I am dead," in a message that was read by his father. "Thank you all for supporting my work throughout the years. If I had another 100 lives I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade again every single time because those were the most joyful years of my life."



His father said in the video that he was "the most amazing child anyone could ever wish for." I will miss Technoblade."



Technoblade who has 10.8 million followers on YouTube, told them of his cancer diagnosis on the platform in August 2021.



Technoblade's family released an apology that was posted at the end of the video on Thursday.



"We the Technoblade family Technoblade we wanted you to know just how much he adored and valued his fans and colleagues. From Technoblade's earliest online days He was always thinking of ways to please and reward his fans," it read.



"Even after his successes however, he maintained his good-natured humility. He played with an endearing balance of his confidence and self-deprecating with. Technoblade's online store has an obituary in honor of his memory, stating that a percentage of the profits from online purchases will be donated to the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Hypixel, a Minecraft server for minigames, also uploaded an impressive tribute to. He was a frequent player on that server. In a statement, founder and CEO Simon Collins-Laflamme described Technoblade as "one of the most internationally popular YouTubers."
