South Northants Leisure Trust
The South Northants Leisure Trust is a charitable organisation aimed at improving local leisure services. Learn More provides a range of services for the local community including a leisure centre, a swimming pool, an indoor adventure course, a sports hall and a theatre. Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grants are also available.

Towcester Centre for Leisure

The Towcester Centre for Leisure is a modern fitness centre offering a leisure pool with flumes and a fitness studio. There is also a cafe. The fitness centre is open from 8am to 8pm. The centre is free for public use. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including swimming, running, cycling and yoga.

The Centre was commended in the awards for its customer service, staff, and community engagement. The centre has recently undergone a PS1 million refurbishment, carried out in partnership with West Northamptonshire Council. The work has resulted in the creation of a new multi-purpose studio and an extension of the existing gym.

Towcester Centre for Leisure is also registered under the Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) scheme and offers access to wheelchair users and guide dogs. It also provides a water based wheel chair for those with limited mobility. It is also accessible by car and bus.

The Centre has over 70 stations and two workout studios. It offers over 60 classes each week. Its 25-metre leisure pool is complete with a flume and waves and a poolside spa bath. Learn More has a 3G pitch and sports hall. It also has a programme of children's activities.

South Northants Leisure Trust

The South Northants Leisure Trust is one of two Local Enterprise Trusts for the county and focuses on the development of local businesses. They also aim to improve local leisure facilities. When the economy grows and businesses start to open in the area, the trust will benefit. This year, they have pledged to create a new gym and improve existing facilities.

The South Northants Leisure Trust is based in Towcester, Northamptonshire. It was founded in 2006 and has been in operation for over ten years. It has 8 active directors and one secretary. Its registered address is Office 6 Town Hall, 86 Watling Street East.

This year, the trust is making a major investment in the town of Brackley. The refurbishment will add new fitness equipment and an improved cafe. The project will also make the centre more accessible for residents from different areas of the county. The Trust is currently seeking feedback from local people so that it can improve its facilities.

The South Northants Leisure Trust is committed to providing accessible leisure facilities for people of all ages and abilities. It also runs a quarterly magazine, the SNLT Magazine.

Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant scheme

The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant scheme is a one-off grant that provides financial support for hospitality and leisure businesses. The scheme supports businesses that are affected by Covid-19 and offer in-person services to customers. To be eligible, the business must be based in a ratepaying premises and provide a service to people who are visiting the area.

The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant is available to hospitality and leisure businesses in England. The scheme will fund up to PS6,000 in grants to eligible businesses. The grants are based on the rateable value of a premises and are only available for businesses with an in-person service.

The deadline for applications is 18 March 2022. Funding will be made by 31 March 2022. The application must be accompanied by supporting evidence and proof of eligibility.
