Ashton Montecillo had an almost perfect life. He's the mayor's son. He had a beautiful girlfriend. An awesome basketball team. A dependable best friend. He is the life of the party, who frequently gets into trouble for being carefree and reckless. But everything turned upside down because of the incident. An incident that led him to meet Delia Salazar.

Delia is a nobody. An ordinary girl in Jefferson High. You wouldn't even know she exists. She's a girl fading on the background.

Tonight at midnight, there will be drag racing on the newly built highway outside the village. Ashton's group is involved in racing. Delia's friend Mindy went to the village where the contest was held. That night there was an accident at the tournament, a car's tire burst and it hit two other cars at the same time. It crashed into a light pole. When the two stopped, the other continued to roll until it hit the concrete barrier and overturned.
