Nah, I'm not into the creepy things. I would like to be a kind and caring person. Above all else I'm determined to assist people to be the best that they can be. I'm not about being edgy, or hateful, or demeaning. I hope that you don't feel ashamed if you're having a bad day. You can always just unwind here and explore Sonic, AOL, or whatever. A friend once described me as "a breath of fresh air" so I'll take this as an invitation to be your spring air.



IRL I'm not bald, and I'm alive. In fact I'm a young lady (with an absurd amount of curly reddish hair) currently in college studying electrical engineering. I am a specialist in embedded device design and have been involved in some interesting things, such as space satellites as well as the overhaul of an entire department's reporting system.



Retro technology (everything is so much more fascinating when there are constraints) Indie games, biking through nature trails, public transportation and Sonic the Hedgehog are all things I am obsessed with. I'm always open to trying new things. Who knows? Perhaps I'll discover a brand new favorite thing. It's always a lot of fun.





What is the purpose of this website?

It's mostly a place to share thoughts. It is possible to break it down into broad categories.



The Articles section, the earliest one with regular content, is where I attempt to describe and/or talk about things that interest me or stuff I'm working on. It's not updated very often, however, since coming up with content is hard.



The most recent sections include the Hacking Notes, which contain some notes and tools to modify older video games and the Projects, which is an extensive list of work I did that can stand on its own a little and the Doodles are where I try to creatively express myself.





Any favorite games/webcomics/whatever?

I'm kinda into video games? While I will play them occasionally, I wouldn't call myself a gamer. I just think the whole medium is fascinating, the possibilities people can do with it their experiences and the emotions they can express and how they utilize what they have to their advantage. Some games I'm really into currently or in the past are Night in the Woods, deltarune, Tetris Attack, a majority of the Sonic series, and Minecraft.



My all-time favorites in movies are Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Forrest Gump and Kiki’s Delivery Service. I like my stories to have a lot of strong character interaction more than a flashy grand plot.



My musical preferences are... unconventional. My musical preferences were influenced by SoundCloud, YouTube and old videogames. But in short, the things I like are either earworms with good basslines (I'm obsessed with 80's J-Pop and the 00's alternative) or great instrumental pieces that truly make you feel the music, not just listen to it. (stuff like Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Blue Album-era Beatles and Pink Floyd.)





What's with the username?

Surprisingly brief story in actual. I was watching a Mario gaming marathon for charity (by the now defunct group ExtraLives led by MonotoneTim who is a pretty cool dude), and I needed an account name for the chat. I thought "You know what's cool? The Boo mushroom from Super Mario Galaxy, which can make you invisible. After about 15 seconds of thinking I finally typed "InvisibleUp" in my head and continued. (In hindsight, I should have chosen something that had fewer syllables.





And the ghostsona?

I started out for years with a logo that looked vaguely like a ghost from Pac-Man. I really wanted a unique profile pic, so I made one. That being said, a few years later I decided that it kinda sucked. I felt a need to have an actual kind of human face to represent my posts instead of just some weird abstract logo thing. I wanted to have a more personal presence on the 'net than I had let myself have before. So, I came up with Inviz.



It is possible to claim that she was influenced by Napstablook in Undertale and Vivian TTYD from Paper Mario. I could have drawn myself as a human, however I wanted to try my hand in creating characters. And I'm obligated to keep up the ghost theme, don't you think? Also, I'm a bit snarky about privacy to show my actual face.
