WRUP: a Public Service Announcement for the Saints Rowless Edition

If you've not had the chance to play Saint's Row the Third up to now, you have no reason to be concerned. You can play the game for free on Steam this weekend, or you can purchase it for a steep discount. But this shouldn't be necessary as everyone should already own a copy of this game.



I know this could be seen as overenthusiastic praise, but please believe me when I say I consider my lack of interest in the title at launch to be a major error on my part. You are denying yourself something truly amazing If you think it's a Grand Theft Auto clone. Download and install it, you'll have nothing to lose.

@nbrianna @nbrianna Guild Wars 2 is a good choice. I have Marvel Heroes, an invite to World of Warcraft without a return and it gives me reason to believe that Champions Online might be worth my time. It was a wonderful weekend.

@Eliot_Lefebvre: There's some personal stuff to handle this weekend I'm looking forward to playing some role-playing in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I also want to play with some of the many RPGs with a tactical theme that I can download to my PSP.



@irljasmine - I've got 99 issues, but RIFT isn't one. Trion let everyone who bought RIFT to start playing free of charge a bit earlier than normal, so I was able get into Telara quicker than you could say "wait! What are these buttons doing again?" It's felt all sorts of great being back, and I'm looking forward to a long weekend of rogue leveling.



@jefreahard: I'll be cussing at World of Warplanes and herding my SWTOR characters towards 55.



@Sypster - If Marvel Heroes launches -- and that may be difficult considering the frustrations of the past week -- then I'll give this Diablo clone a fair go. I have a brand-new Dragon character that I could take to Kingsmouth in The Secret World. Hope she doesn't get zombified!



@MikedotFoster - I'm back playing Dota 2 this weekend and researching the game that I voted for in my Choose My Adventure poll. If I have the time, I would also like to take a look at EVE Online's new exploration features.



@RichieProcopio: Besides my normal dose of Guild Wars 2 action, this weekend I'll play some Minecraft. I'm a little late for the tree-punching event however, my kids and I have recently begun playing together. They steal all the good things that I find despite my apparently-not-so-clever hiding places, but it's all good because I can send them to bed and then keep playing!



@terilynns I have a lot of levelin'! I have two characters: a Romulan and a Reman to move through the new content in Star Trek Online and I will likely begin with a brand new Klingon character on the horizon! After a long time playing Lord of the Rings Online my main character has finally reached the level 70. and I plan to get her to cap before the end of the summer! Altoholics can be a time-consuming activity, but I can tell you that I have had more fun playing MMOs during the last month than I did in the last month. There's a lot to do!
