Minecraft has grown larger over the past year, and Minecraft 1.18 is the most significant of the game's growth. Here's what you need to know about the update
Minecraft 1.18 is now available
Minecraft 1.18 is finally out all over the world to everyone to enjoy. It is available for download and can be downloaded right now.
We'll keep you updated throughout the next week with all the best mods, textures and more.
Confirmed Release Date
We now know that Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Part 2 will go live on November 30th.
You have less than two weeks to finish everything and download it on time.
Minecraft 1.18 Release Date
We've made some pretty accurate guesses up to now. Finally, we know it will be arriving on the 30th of November.
The team has been sharing a lot of new photos to test their ideas. If these all go well and no major issues come up, the team will be well on time. This means we can expect an update to be released between November and December of this year.
Release Time
As with the release date, we don't have an exact release date yet, but we do have a decent estimate. Caves and Cliffs Part 1 was updated at 1pm ET or 6pm BST Tuesday, June 8th.
We can expect similar results for the second part.
What's it all about?

Minecraft 1.18 is all about caves and cliffs. In the first part, we set the foundations now is the time to carry the job. Expect major changes in how structures are built. Caves will be larger with new biomes, and new places for exploration.
There is even the frightful warden in a new biome called the deep dark. Here are some snapshots of the work done by the team.

Snapshots let the team test new features on a portion of the players. It treats players as bug testers and encourages players to report any problems to help the team improve the game.
