待前面的步驟完成後，就會正式進入「植牙手術」的流程啦！ 植牙手術過程中，醫師會依據經驗、X光判斷出患者的神經、上顎竇並盡量避開，避免造成手術的後遺症。
有些美觀區，若是在意的話，就要評估牙周整型手術(取牙齦補牙齦)，期待它能恢復可接受的美觀。 根管治療的過程中，或許或產生不適，此時可以服用醫師給的藥物，同時也避免用這邊的牙齒咀嚼東西，以免症狀加劇、暫時充填物掉落或是咬裂。 至於刷牙、牙線的清潔都跟一往一樣，不需要刻意避免。 若有急遽疼痛或是腫脹的情況，請儘速回診，以便讓醫師換藥處理。
牙醫會在補牙完成後打磨填充物，但填充物仍可能留下尖銳邊角。 因為局部麻醉的關係，起初您可能無法察覺這種情況。 如發現填充物有尖角，立即聯絡牙醫並安排打磨，避免尖角令口腔受傷。 向牙醫講述敏感情況時，盡量準確描述，這樣才能幫助牙醫決定下一步。 您的牙醫可能會更換現有的填充物，並同時加入底座或襯底及塗抹脫敏劑。
醫師在實施進針以及推針的動作時，也不容易出現疼痛，大多是腫脹的感覺。 比較常出現的反而是麻藥滲透出的苦味讓患者恐懼緊張、不適應。
若口內某側缺牙過多，患者會習慣用較多牙齒的一側咀嚼食物。 長久下來容易造成咀嚼肌肉的不協調，進而引起顳顎關節的疼痛（咀嚼食物主要的關節）。
它的原理是準備好病人的齒模，利用電腦掃瞄、軟體分析、規劃出牙齒未來依序的移動方向，再將這結果，利用電腦製作出來新的矯正隱形牙托，方便讓病人按時替換。 優點就是美觀、舒適，清潔方便，即便需要公共場合現身，也可以輕易的拿下來。 固定式矯正器，就如同文字面，是病人本身無法取下的裝置，也因為醫師治療計畫的不同，口內裝置時常在改變，因此在清潔方面更要格外注意。
