- The Hilarious Outtakes at the end of Warcraft 3's credits, in which they attempt to recreate
the Warcraft 2 cinematic where a footman cuts the rope of a catapult and destroys a zeppelin
. Needless to say, it requires many takes, Archimonde is a Bad Director with a penchant for You Have Failed Me, sheep, dragons...- The Frozen Throne's credits sequence gives us the first appearance of the Elite Tauren Chieftain, a high-fantasy metal band of which Arthas is a member, complete with an electric guitar made of ice (That was later remade into a Frostmourne themed one in Reforged). There's even lore about how he split off from the band due to creative differences.

On the subject of Easter egg bosses, use of force of nature on mushrooms in the underground level could trigger a cutscene that shows Malfurion entering the lair of a gigantic panda! Clicking on it will reveal the panda's name as the largest PANDA ever.


The Penguin King can be found in the undead frozen crown campaign. He will give you an exclusive item to help you locate him, in contrast to other examples. Genius Bonus for those who know that King penguins are king penguins.
is an actual species of penguin in real life.


In the first map of the Finding of Durotar You can see the penguin toy which makes a sound when played with. Evidently, the centaurs were intrigued since they had never seen penguins before.


































































































The encounter between Arthas and Sapphiron








The cutscene in the pre-level cutscene shows Arthas and Anub'arak, trying to cut through the ruins of Azjol-Nerub in order to reach the Frozen Throne more quickly but they are stopped by dwarves from the Muradin's expedition (you know, those same ones Arthas left behind in Reign of Chaos). Arthas's response?


- - Even more Hilarious in Hindsight when World of Warcraft revealed that Muradin himself wasn't killed, either.


The dwarves attempt to pull a You Shall Not Pass! on Arthas, who responds by siccing Sapphiron on them. The dwarves then take cover in the ruins that surround them, and one poor schmuck is trapped outside by the massive Frost Wyrm.


- The level proper has dwarfs who are used to standing next to stacks of explosive barrels. These barrels can be detonated to produce predictable results. One must be wondering how they were able to get to this point...


- Prior to the final confrontation with the dwarves' leader, Baelgun, this exchange takes place:






- The second part of that chapter features Arthas and Anub'Arak getting snatched by nerubians attempting to kill the king who was a traitor (Anub'arak). Arthas believes they are talking about him, but Anub'arak corrects him in such a deadpan tone that it appears like he was irritated by Arthas's interpretation.


- It doesn't matter if Arthas is trying to stop Illidan from destructing the Lich King in the final mission. If they cross paths with each other, he still takes some time mocking Kael'thas.






Kael'thas's reaction also functions as a call-back to mission 4, where he considers the Lich King's demise as a form of payment for Arthas destroying Quel'thalas... "and other insults". Said "other insults" being Jaina choosing Arthas over him.
