Minecraft's annual event started out as an event, but then shifted to streaming-only format in 2017 in a bid to keep the tight-knit environment for a growing number of people. The event will now return to an in-person experience and has more information. The new name for the event is Minecraft Festival will take place at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center from September 25th until September 27th. Tickets are available starting on March 6th at 12 pm Eastern. Mojang and Microsoft have promised plenty of activities besides listening to the most recent Minecraft news, including panels, exhibits and tournaments, "live entertainment" and of course exclusive merchandise.
Tickets start at $60 per day and $165 for three days. Everyone who attends will be given an in-game Minecraft Festival cap, which is compatible with Java and Bedrock. There are incentives to spend more money, just like many conventions. The $225 Gold package provides early access to panels and exhibits. The attendees who choose the $300 Diamond package are granted access to a lounge as well as a private bag and coat inspection.
This is a good thing for those who have missed the times of meeting creators and other fans. In the end, Microsoft is taking a chance with the coronavirus epidemic that is currently in progress. Although September is seven months away, it's not likely that the outbreak will be completely under control by then. The Minecraft Festival will likely go in the coming months, but you might be prudent about planning your life around it.
