Mojang's Minecraft is now up to 8 million in total sales on Xbox 360, the game's retail release clearly building on the XBLA version's success. Just looks at this week's UK charts, where the Xbox 360 Edition is the fourth game of the year to be Numero Uno for three consecutive weeks; the other three are The Last of Us, Dead Island: Riptide, and BioShock Infinite.
The feat is happening as the Xbox 360 version prepares for Title Update 12, its full changelog now posted up on PlayXBLA. Among the various additions from the PC version are the ocelots that can scare creepers into fleeing, and the jungle biomes that they inhabit.

Despite the lack of announcements, Tales of Xillia makes an impressive debut. Namco's JRPG has a good start, advancing to fourth place and is odd considering the series' track record in the UK. To put it in perspective, Tales of Graces F was released in 14th place last year.
