Technoblade, a YouTuber on Minecraft was killed at the age of 23. His family shared an emotional farewell video on his behalf.



The video, which was titled "solong geeks" was shared to his 10 million followers. It showed his father calling him "the most amazing child anyone could ever hope for".



The US internet sensation gained fame livestreaming and posting clips of himself playing the sandbox video game.



In January of this year, Technoblade revealed to fans that he was diagnosed with cancer.



His father read his goodbye message a few hours before his passing. It began with "Hello everyone, Technoblade here." This is what you should be seeing. I am dead."



He then admitted that his real name was Alex. He also recalled the time he tricked viewers to believe his name be Dave.



"Thank you all for supporting my content throughout the years," he continued. "If I had another hundred lives I'm pretty sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade over and over again because those were the most joyful years of my life."



The online star, who took home Minecraft tournaments and had a horde of fans talking about his life in a humorous manner when playing the game, explained in a video for fundraising released in February that he had undergone chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a limb salvage procedure after he was diagnosed with a painful tumour in his right arm.



He died of sarcoma, which is a rare bone and soft tissue cancer.



He disclosed his cancer diagnosis in August 2021, explaining that he initially thought the pain he was feeling was from an injury to the muscles from repetitive stress due to excessive gaming. After his arm started swelling, it was taken to the hospital. He was diagnosed with cancer.

J Schlatt recalled, "I'll never forget the day I met Technoblade." "I left work early to play in an Minecraft tournament with Technoblade. I didn't know how to play... but the dude managed to get us through the entire tournament.



"Rest in peace, big guy. You'll be a legend for the rest of your life."



YouTuber Captain Puffy also known as Cara, tweeted: "Rest In Peace Technoblade. He always treated me with the utmost respect. I was never denied from anything." He couldn't of been more generous!"



She added: "Thank you for everything you've done for this community. It will never be the same without you."



Tommy Innit said: "Technoblade is legendary. From being a huge fan, to being one of his friends, I don't know how grateful I am to have had the privilege of being in his life. I can tell he's planning in heaven on how to defeat God ..."



"I've been watching Technoblade's videos for the past half hour," added Ludwig Ahgren. "He was so witty and humble in the toughest of times. I'll never forget him."



Quackity also expressed his gratitude online, writing: "I had to have the opportunity to share how much admiration I had for Technoblade, not only for his massive impact on us all but also for his amazing humour, even in the darkest hours." I will miss him so much."



Jake Lucky, an eSports player, added "May rest and be at peace."



Technoblade's dad thanked fans in the farewell video, noting: "You meant a lot to him."



He explained that a portion of the proceeds from online purchases for his late son's merchandise would now go to charity.



The video concluded with a letter from his family. It said: "We, Technoblade, wanted to let you know how the much he was loved and respected by his fans and colleagues."



Technoblade was active since the beginning of his career. He was always trying to find ways to delight and reward his followers. He gave away prizes online, encouraged good sportsmanship, and shared his Minecraft adventures for laughs and entertainment.



"Even after his triumphs the man remained his good-natured modesty and fought with a charming balance of self-confidence and self-deprecating humor."



Minecraft lets players create their own an imaginative virtual landscape, by digging holes to gather blocks.



Recent updates to the game have been utilized by youngsters to improve their professional skills, as well as to solve real-world problems like flooding.



Ted Nevison described Technoblade as being "effortlessly funny" and "endlessly talented". He said, "Gone too quickly."



Bad Boy Halo also paid their respects and expressed their condolences, saying: "Words cannot express how much you will miss. The lives you touched and the impact that you had on their lives will be remembered forever.



Slimecicle stated that Technoblade's "personality and sense of humor, and sense of humor were an inspiration to him and countless others."
