New on Realms - Curses And Cacti

Bow Blitz is a map for PvP players who like the bow. It is a game where you kick your enemies in the head with arrows and try to cast them into an endless empty space. Players have several arenas to select from, and understanding the terrain can be useful in combat. The power-ups can also be useful as they will give you an edge over your opponents. Play with your friends, play with bots, or become a friend with a bot. I believe that friendships are real and legitimate regardless of what other people's opinions.

This week, we're trying a new segment where we will bring you the most recent information on which maps from the Realms library are being played the most. We recommend that you explore all the content. But, if you are looking for the most current trendsetters you're in the right place:

You'll notice that I've only included minigames and adventure maps in this ranking. World templates are kind of odd because they can become the primary Minecraft world and even a handful of people on one world template could play for hundreds of hours and affect its position. The other categories of Experiences and Inspiration have a small number of maps (which means they are open to creators).

If you've ever lived in a block, you've probably noticed that something odd is happening with Minecraft: the Update Aquatic is on the way! Like any major update to Minecraft: Java Edition, certain things will be changed in the Realms content library. In the beginning, based on the release date for the update, this could be the last batch of new Realms maps that will be released prior to the update. Creators should take the time to plan for updates and new maps. When the update does happen there are maps you can download from Realms might excuse themselves from the library. Typically, about one third of maps are updated immediately and the remaining third are updated within the next month, and for the last third, those creators choose to focus on new projects rather than.

What this amounts to is an exciting and totally-not-at-all-stressful-for-our-team shakeup of Realms content as we phase out the old and publish the new. We hope that the new maps will provide plenty of new uses for the aquatic features!
