I am so shocked that we have to leave our home country! I wish the great hunger never happened. Now we have to immigrate to a new country to live in because of a destructive plant disease that speeded around the country, it caused us all to starve. We had nothing to eat because the infestation ruined up to one half of our potato crops. Now all our crops are ruined! Starvation is all around our country and our population is lowering. My family has nothing to eat, and we are suffering because of this. I am so mad about this incident because my family is depressed that we left our country.
